In Tempest we aim to provide a fully satisfying shopping
experience to every customer who comes through our doors.
Today's young, savvy fashionista doesn't ask for much. All
she really wants is:
 |
a great range of top fashion clothes |
 |
to cover every occasion from glam
nights to lazy days |
 |
within her price range (whether
she's flush or busted) |
 |
available instantly in her preferred
size, colour, style, brand and cut |
 |
from a shop that matches her current
mood, style, aspirations and musical taste |
 |
with friendly staff that know their
boot-cut from their flares |
 |
and preferably with a nice bag that
she won't be ashamed to take her lunch into work / school
in the next day! |
At Tempest it's more than an objective to satisfy this demanding
little minx. It has, from the very design stage onwards, been
our guiding principle!
In Tempest we aimed to create a brand that would have great
appeal to shoppers on the High Street and have an exciting
potential that would be evident to other retailers and brand
names. We achieved this through a thorough approach to the
development of the Tempest concept, the premises design and
the brands trading on our floor.
Acclaimed designers Kinnersley Kent (who work extensively
with companies like House of Fraser and Morgan) developed
the image especially to appeal to our core customer. The name
chosen - Tempest - is redolent of excitement, movement and
strength. It is vivacious and positive. The logo is simple,
clear and modern, with a quirky twist. The colour is startling,
distinctive, in-your-face. Together they represent the vibrancy
of youth.
The Tempest environment is an area created to enhance the
shopping experience and compliment the customers' lifestyle.
Tempest is futuristic. It utilizes chrome, glass and light
in a fluid, curvaceous way. The visual appeal is enhanced
with a state of the art in-store sound system and by the use
of video walls and light boxes. Tempest is easy to shop, uncluttered
and bright and aims to provide a complete shopping experience.
There are currently 9 Tempest stores (Bangor, Coleraine, Cookstown, Dungannon, Lisburn, Larne, Letterkenny, Omagh & Omni Park, Santry, Dublin). We are always keen to spot new opportunities
to develop Tempest further. With each new Tempest store we
enhance the concept and refine the design and build so that
Tempest will continue to grow and grow.
